Now for some info....

What is TeachMeet?

TeachMeet is a chance to meet teachers who are motivated to improve their own classroom practice and share their ideas with others. It is fun, non-judgemental and free! The format consists of presentations of 2 or 7 minutes, from volunteer teachers who wish to share something which is working in their classroom.

Who organises TeachMeet NW?

TeachMeet NW has been organised voluntarily by a group of educationalists who believe that the best way to learn new things is to hear about what other people are doing. The organisers are passionate about education and as well as organisers of the sucessful #niedcamp, are also regular participants in #NIEdchat.

What are we hoping to achieve?

Who knows! The whole point of TeachMeet is that it is an open forum for teachers to get together and share ideas. Where it goes from there is up to you! The entire event is fun, it moves at a fast pace and shares interesting ideas for your classroom. You may even win a raffle prize!!

Call for presenters!

If you are interested in presenting at #TeachmeetNW, please add your details below. On the night there will be a random name picker which will choose the presenters.....it's great fun and it is possibly the most positive and uplifting teacher meeting you'll attend....EVER!
Feel encouraged to participate - no idea is too small - it is all about what engages learners!
